Minnesota’s placement in the Sunday Night Football spotlight at Dallas this week means there is more opportunity to check in on other games before the Vikings and Cowboys kick off at 7:20 p.m. (CT) on NBC.

According to 506sports.com, the Twin Cities will have two options in the noon time slot: Detroit at Chicago on CBS and Atlanta at New Orleans on FOX.

FOX has the doubleheader this week and will feature Carolina and Green Bay in much of the country.

Monday night’s game also looms large in the NFC Playoff race: Seattle will visit San Francisco.

Here’s a breakdown of the Detroit-Chicago, Carolina-Green Bay and Seattle-San Francisco games:

Detroit (3-4-1) at Chicago (3-5)

Noon (CT) Sunday | Soldier Field

Outlook: Neither team is where it wants to be heading into Week 10. The Lions have dropped four of five after opening with a tie and two wins, and the Bears have lost four consecutive games since defeating the Vikings in Week 4.

Lions Notes

QB Matthew Stafford is aiming for his fourth straight game with 300-plus yards and three or more touchdowns through the air.

WR Kenny Golladay is tied for the NFL lead with seven receiving touchdowns.

CB Darius Slay has totaled 10 pass breakups and two interceptions in his past five games against Chicago.

Bears Notes

QB Mitchell Trubisky completed 23 of 30 passes (76.7 percent) for 355 yards and three touchdowns for a passer rating of 148.6 last season at home against Detroit.

WR Allen Robinson had six catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns in that game.

LBs Khalil Mack (2.0), Leonard Floyd (1.0) and Roquan Smith (1.0) each recorded sacks at home against the Lions last season.

Carolina (5-3) at Green Bay (7-2)

3:25 p.m. (CT) Sunday | Lambeau Field

Outlook: The Panthers have won five of six since second-year pro Kyle Allen stepped in for starting QB Cam Newton, who was placed on Injured Reserve this week. The Packers opened with three wins before a loss and followed with four victories in a row. Green Bay can maintain sole possession of first place (the Packers also have the tiebreaker on the Vikings right now) in the NFC North and head into their bye with a win.

Panthers Notes

Allen has nine touchdowns (eight passing, one rushing) against three interceptions and a combined passer rating of 93.1 in five road starts.

RB Christian McCaffrey became the sixth player in NFL history with 1,200-plus yards from scrimmage in a team’s first eight games of a season.

LB Luke Kuechly has recorded eight or more tackles in 10 of 12 games against NFC North teams.

Packers Notes

QB Aaron Rodgers has 17 touchdown passes and just two interceptions on the season.

RB Aaron Jones has nine touchdowns (eight rushing, one receiving) in his past eight home games. He and McCaffrey are the only two players in 2019 with at least 400 rushing yards and 350 receiving yards.

LBs Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith are the only teammates this season with eight-plus sacks each.

Seattle (7-2) at San Francisco (8-0)

7:15 p.m. (CT) Monday | Levi’s Stadium

Outlook: It’s a marquee matchup on Monday Night Football. The NFC West rivals each withstood challenges last week from underdogs. The Seahawks outlasted the Buccaneers 40-34 in overtime, and the 49ers edged the Cardinals last week on Thursday Night Football.

Seahawks Notes

QB Russell Wilson passed for 378 yards and five touchdowns for a passer rating of 133.7 last week.

WR Tyler Lockett totaled a career-high 13 receptions for 152 yards and two touchdowns against Tampa Bay.

LB Bobby Wagner has 3.0 sacks, six tackles for loss, a forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, eight passes defended and four interceptions in his past six games against San Francisco.

49ers Notes

QB Jimmy Garoppolo completed 28 of 37 passes for 317 yards and a career-best four touchdowns for a passer rating of 136.9 last week.

TE George Kittle has caught six or more passes in four consecutive home games.

Rookie DL Nick Bosa has recorded 5.0 total sacks in his past two home games. He had 2.0 against Cleveland and 3.0 against Carolina.
