The 24th annual Bears Care Gala will be held Saturday at the United Club at Soldier Field.

Through the annual Gala, Bears Care has been able to award over $15 million in grants to Chicago-area research efforts focused on finding a cure for breast and ovarian cancer and improving treatment options for those currently battling these diseases.

A limited number of tickets to the Gala are still available at chicagobears.com/bearscaregala. For more information, email Bears.Care@Bears.NFL.net.

Fans who are unable to attend the event will still be able to support the cause by bidding online this week through 10:45 p.m. Saturday. Auction items include a week-long stay in a luxury apartment in Paris, exclusive Bears memorabilia, a VIP night out at TAO Chicago, premium suites at a Bulls and Blackhawks game and more. For information on over 80 additional auction items and how to bid online, please visit chicagobears.com/bearscaregala.

The Orange Carpet will be hosted by Chicago native and NFL Network “Good Morning Football” host Kyle Brandt. Jeff Joniak, play-by-play announcer on WBBM Newsradio 780 & 105.9 FM, will serve as emcee and auctioneer of the Gala and will be joined by Bears reporter Lauren Screeden.

Bears coach Matt Nagy, front office executives and current and alumni players are scheduled to attend, including Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher, Trey Burton, Kyle Fuller, Akiem Hicks, Charles Leno Jr., Allen Robinson II, Danny Trevathan, Mitchell Trubisky and more. About Bears Care
The Bears have a longstanding tradition of supporting numerous charities and assisting those in need. Bears Care was incorporated in 2005 as a 501 © 3 organization committed to improving the quality of life for people in the Chicagoland community, especially disadvantaged children and their families, through targeted programs supporting education, youth athletics, and medical research and health awareness programs focusing on breast and ovarian cancer. Since that time, Bears Care has issued grants totaling more than $19.5 million to over 100 qualifying agencies.
