The top 101 players from the 2019 NFL season (Sam Monson, Pro Football Focus)

Few positions have to rely on others to make them look good — or at least give them the opportunity to make themselves look good — like wide receiver. Courtland Sutton was dealing with sub-standard quarterback play all season long, and that's something that only slightly improved with the move to rookie Drew Lock. Sutton caught 72 passes, broke 16 tackles after the catch and did significant work to bail his quarterback out of some ugly passes over the year. Few players did more with less.

Super Bowl Briefs: Steve Atwater hopes more Broncos follow him into Hall of Fame (Ryan O'Halloran, The Denver Post)

Atwater mentioned linebackers Randy Gradishar and Karl Mecklenburg as deserving of consideration. Both players are in the Broncos' Ring of Fame. Gradishar was a finalist for the centennial group.

After missing playoffs again, Broncos don't raise ticket prices for 2020 (Mike Klis, 9NEWS)

For the third season in four years, the Broncos will not raise ticket prices in 2020.

Broncos Mailbag: Best way to catch Chiefs — prioritize stopping them or keeping up with them? (Ryan O'Halloran, The Denver Post)

Great question about how to overtake the Chiefs. Does it mean loading up on cornerbacks to account for Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins and Mecole Hardman? Does it mean adding a linebacker to cover Travis Kelce? Or does it mean getting in an arms race and adding offensive skill to keep up with the Chiefs' offense? My lean as Broncos general manager would be to fortify cornerback (free agency and first-round pick) and linebacker (draft). The Broncos scored one touchdown — one! — against Kansas City this year. That exhibits the gulf.
