Dylan Cantrell knows Kliff Kingsbury's offense, having played for the coach at Texas Tech.

What he doesn't know quite yet is the position of tight end, which is where his former coach plans to use him in their reunion with the Cardinals.

The Cards signed Cantrell Monday with the intent to move the 6-foot-3, 226-pounder from wide receiver. To make room on the roster, the Cardinals released cornerback Sojourn Shelton.
