INDIANAPOLIS — Two more members of the Indianapolis Colts’ 2019 free agents have reportedly signed elsewhere.

Wide receiver Dontrelle Inman has signed with the New England Patriots (according to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport), while defensive tackle Al Woods has signed with the Seattle Seahawks (according to his agency).

Signed as a free agent last Oct. 16, Inman provided a solid veteran presence and playmaker for the Colts’ offense when it needed a boost.

In nine games played with four starts, he finished with 28 receptions for 304 yards and three touchdowns, while also logging eight catches for 108 yards and another score in Indy’s two postseason contests.

While the team had expressed interest in the possibility of bringing the 30-year-old Inman back for 2019, the Colts ultimately decided to go with other options at the wide receiver position, signing free agent Devin Funchess and selecting Ohio State standout Parris Campbell in the second round of the NFL Draft.

The Colts currently have 13 wide receivers on their offseason roster: Deon Cain, Campbell, Ashton Dulin, Daurice Fountain, Funchess, Penny Hart, T.Y. Hilton, Krishawn Hogan, Steve Ishmael, Marcus Johnson, Zach Pascal, Chester Rogers and Jordan Veasy. The team typically kept five players at the position on its 53-man roster last year.

Woods, meanwhile, started the first eight games of the 2018 season and then came on as a key rotational player over the next six contests before suffering a season-ending ankle injury in the Colts' Week 15 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

Voted a team captain, Woods, who will be 32 by Week 1 of the 2019 season, finished 2018 with 24 tackles (10 solo; one for a loss) and one pass defensed. In his two seasons in Indy, Woods compiled 68 total tackles (six for a loss) with one sack, four quarterback hits and one pass defensed.

The Colts currently have eight primary defensive tackles on their offseason roster: Denico Autry, Margus Hunt, Tyquan Lewis, Johnny Robinson, Sterling Shippy, Grover Stewart, Jordan Thompson and Jihad Ward. The team typically kept about five interior defensive linemen on its active roster throughout the 2018 season.

Inman and Woods’ deals leave just three of the Colts’ 15 2019 unrestricted free agents unsigned: defensive end Geneo Grissom, tight end Ryan Hewitt and safety Mike Mitchell.
