Quentin Poling (6-1, 235) enters his second season in the National Football League and his first with the Vikings in 2020. A native of Gomer, Ohio, Poling was drafted 227th overall in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins where he spent his rookie season on the practice squad. Poling signed a Reserve/Future contract with Miami in the 2019 offseason, but was waived by the club on September 1. He was picked up and cut by the Los Angeles Chargers on September 5 before signing with the Las Vegas Raiders on September 25. Poling spent the majority of the 2019 season on the Raiders practice squad. He saw his first career game action with Oakland on November 7 on Thursday Night Football versus the Chargers but did not record any statistics. At Ohio, Poling notched 50 starts and set Bobcat career records for solo tackles (217) and tackles for loss (44).
