2013: WEEK 11 VS. NEW ENGLAND ON MONDAY NIGHT
The Patriots had already been the class of the league for more than a decade, making this Monday Night Football victory that much sweeter. After a back and forth game, Newton orchestrated some late-game heroics when he hit wide receiver, Ted Ginn Jr., for the go-ahead touchdown with under a minute to go. But the game wasn't over yet. After Tom Brady drove the Patriots down the field, things finally came to a controversial end after referees picked up a flag that was originally thrown for pass interference on linebacker Luke Kuechly.
But most of all, this game will always be remembered for wide receiver Steve Smith's iconic post-game message for Patriots' cornerback Aqib Talib: "Ice up, son."
