2. Have a day, Davion Davis

The final day of minicamp belonged to Davion Davis.

The undrafted free agent wide receiver out of Sam Houston State made three dazzling catches on the day.

Davis began his big day with a leaping snag over the middle when he high-pointed a Kyle Sloter pass with multiple defenders around him. The incredible catch drew plenty of loud cheers from the offensive players on the sideline.

During the team session mentioned above, Davis helped Mannion lead the scoring drive by snagging a 41-yard reception over his shoulder down the right sideline as he managed to stay in bounds. Davis then drew a 20-yard pass interference call on the next play.

But the 22-year-old wasn’t done, as he might have saved his best for last. With the third-team offense on the field late in the final situation, Davis snagged a tipped pass with his fingertips just inches from the turf.

Davis had 40 touchdowns in his college career for the Bearkats.

3. Gedeon goes the distance

The best play for the defense Thursday came from linebacker Ben Gedeon, who intercepted Jake Browning for a 55-yard pick-six in a team drill.

Gedeon picked off the low pass and scooted untouched down the left sideline as Browning and the offense gave chase.

The third-year linebacker was joined in the end zone by Anthony Barr, Everson Griffen and Xavier Rhodes — played who were on the sideline when the play started but who wanted to be part of the celebration.
