With the rookie class arriving – and contracts soon to be signed – the Cardinals made a series of roster moves Friday to align their 90-man roster to accommodate the new players and sign a couple new ones.
The team cut nine players total, including former CFL wide receiver Bryant Mitchell and fellow wide receiver Jalen Tolliver, who was with the team last season. The team also moved on from offensive linemen Justin Evans, Zack Golditch, Will House and Brant Weiss, along with cornerback Jonathan Moxey, defensive tackle Pasoni Tasini and running back Brandon Wilds.
Even after cutting four offensive linemen, the Cards still have 18 candidates on the roster.
The Cardinals signed two more undrafted rookie free agents to their original class of 12, bringing in running back Wes Hills from Slippery Rock and cornerback Nate Brooks from North Texas.
Rookie minicamp begins Friday and runs through Sunday.
