When the calendar flips to February on Saturday, the 31st annual Chicago Bears Coat Drive will enter its final month.
New and gently used coats can be donated at 188 participating Jewel-Osco locations throughout Chicagoland through Feb. 28; a store locator is available at JewelOsco.com.
Bears Fit at 155 E Townline Road in Vernon Hills is also accepting donations. Wm. Meyers Movers has donated bins and is handling all transport logistics. All coats will benefit the Salvation Army.
For questions on how to receive a coat, please call the Salvation Army at (773) 725-1100. More than 19,000 coats were donated during last year's coat drive.
