The Bears on Friday signed receiver Marvin Hall to a one-year contract.

Hall, 25, spent the past two seasons with the Falcons, appearing in 24 games, all as a reserve, catching 12 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. The 5-10, 190-pounder served as Atlanta’s primary kickoff returner last season, playing in all 16 contests and averaging 23.7 yards on 26 returns with a long of 53 yards.

Hall entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Raiders in 2016 out of Washington. He was waived as part of final cuts and later spent the final month of his rookie season on the Cardinals practice squad.

Hall signed with the Falcons in June 2017 and opened the season on Atlanta’s practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster Oct. 14 and caught a 40-yard touchdown pass from Matt Ryan the next day in a 20-17 loss to the Dolphins. Hall finished the 2017 season with two receptions for 60 yards and added 10 catches for 149 yards last year.

Hall is the sixth free agent the Bears have signed from another team since Wednesday. He follows safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, receiver/return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson, running back Mike Davis, nickel back Buster Skrine and guard Ted Larsen.
