ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos’ 2019 draft class officially has its jersey numbers.
On the eve of rookie minicamp, the Broncos announced which numbers their six draft picks would wear — and the jersey numbers for several other players.
All jersey numbers are subject to change before the regular season begins.
A pair of the Broncos’ draft picks will continue to wear the numbers they sported in college. First-round pick Noah Fant will wear No. 87, like he did for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Second-round pick Drew Lock will keep No. 3, which he wore during his Missouri career.
OL Dalton Risner (No. 66), DL Dre’Mont Jones (No. 93), LB Justin Hollins (52) and WR Juwann Winfree (No. 15) will all sport new numbers.
The following 17 college free agents also got their numbers: FB George Aston (No. 39), OL Quinn Bailey (No. 75), WR Trinity Benson (No. 2), OL Ryan Crozier (No. 63), LB Joe Dineen (No. 53), TE Austin Fort (No. 89), LB Ahmad Gooden (No. 94), WR Romell Guerrier (No. 83), CB Alijah Holder (No. 49), RB Devontae Jackson (No. 48), DL Jaylen Johnson (No. 91), OL John Leglue (No. 73), WR Kelvin McKnight (No. 16), LB Malik Reed (No. 59), QB Brett Rypien (No. 4), OL Brian Wallace (No. 79) and LB Josh Watson (No. 54).
The following recent additions to Denver’s rosters were also officially assigned numbers: K Taylor Bertolet (No. 1), OL Jake Brendel (No. 64), CB Trey Johnson (No. 39), DL Mike Purcell (No. 98), OL Jake Rodgers (No. 69), LB Dekoda Watson (No. 56) and DL Billy Winn (No. 90).
Punter Colby Wadman will switch to No. 6.
