Pat Bowlen donates 20 artifacts to Pro Football Hall of Fame ahead of his induction (Mike Klis, 9NEWS)

Besides his bronzed Ironman shoes, Bowlen is donating his commemorative game balls from each of the Broncos’ three Super Bowl victories – XXXII, XXXIII and 50, and his Super Bowl XXXII leather jacket.

Broncos Adam Gotsis and Justin Simmons address mentality entering contract year (Kyle Fredrickson, The Denver Post)

Plenty has changed in Denver since both players were drafted in 2016. They are on their third head coach, third defensive coordinator and their roles have evolved. Simmons, a third-round safety was the only Broncos defensive player to not miss a snap (2,077) while ranking second in tackle (97) and tied for first in interceptions (three). Gotsis, a second-round defensive end, played the third-most snaps last year among defensive [linemen] (512) and had six disruptions — sacks/knockdowns/pressures — his most effective NFL season to date.

Both players are being counted no to be stalwarts of Denver's defense this year in what could also be an audition to remain Broncos long term.

Former pro football star Ken Woodard earns Tuskegee degree (Brittney Dabney, Tuskegee University)

In 1982, however, he put his academic dreams on hold to pursue another dream – playing in the NFL. That year, he was drafted in the 10th round (274th overall) by the Denver Broncos. During his 10 years in the NFL, the former Denver Broncos linebacker became the first Tuskegee Golden Tiger to play in a Super Bowl — appearing in Super Bowl XXI in Pasadena’s Rose Bowl against the New York Giants.

Vic Fangio’s Impact Immediate After 2nd Week Of OTAs (Romi Bean, CBS Denver)

The Broncos have yet to play a down of football in 2019. But already, we’re getting more and more evidence that Vic Fangio is the nose-to-the-grindstone type of coach the Broncos have been missing.
