ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have added more cornerback depth in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
The team selected LSU cornerback Kary Vincent Jr. with the 237th-overall pick.
Vincent, a two-year starter at LSU, played in the slot as a nickel cornerback for the Tigers.
Vincent recorded four interceptions and 12 passes defensed during his final season on the field for LSU. He opted out ahead of the 2020 season.
He finished his career with 87 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, 21 passes defensed and six interceptions in 39 games.
Vincent joins a cornerback room that features several veterans capable of playing in the slot, including Bryce Callahan and Essang Bassey.
The Broncos used their first-round pick on a cornerback, selecting Pat Surtain II.
