With the combination of normal work day traffic and fans heading to the game, fans are highly encouraged to give themselves plenty of extra time and arrive early for Thursday Night Football this week -- kickoff between the Cardinals and 49ers is 5:20 p.m.


Here is some helpful info to keep in mind:


PARKING: Sportsman’s Park carparks and other game day parking lots will open at 1:15 PM on Thursday. Fans are encouraged to arrive during the first two hours they are open (1:15–3:15 PM) for the easiest and smoothest experience. Traffic updates are available at www.az511.gov or by calling 511. Information regarding parking and tailgating guidelines can be found online at www.azcardinals.com/stadium/a-to-z-guide.


GATES OPEN: Main entrance gates open at 3:45 PM on Thursday. Club gates will open at 2:15 PM.

HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES: Since Thursday’s game falls on October 31st, the Cardinals are hosting a variety of Halloween themed activities. Trick-or-treating at the “Halloween Pregame Party,” the in-game “Costume of the Quarter” and the Cardinals “Halloween Halftime Show” will provide fans both young and old with the opportunity to celebrate the holiday at the game.

Family-friendly pregame festivities begin at 2:15 p.m. and will take place on theCardinals Fright Deck (also known as the Cardinals Flight Deck) and Witch’s Brew Haus (also known as the Brew Haus presented by Four Peaks Brewing Company) and run until 30 minutes prior to kickoff.

GREAT LAWN: The Great Lawn, which covers more than eight acres and was designed for use by fans while tailgating, will open on Thursday at 1:15 PM. Bands perform prior to each regular season home game beginning three hours before kickoff on the Great Lawn Stage presented by Hyundai. Cardinals fans should be aware the Great Lawn is available for pre-game tailgating only.


OTHER PREGAME ACTIVITIES: The Cardinals are once again offering pregame entertainment to fans and all of the options below open at 2:15 PM on Thursday.


“Arizona Cardinals Flight Deck”
is anchored by lounges surrounding the stadium plaza, each of which feature shade structures, seating and an oversized LED video wall. Food and beverage options are available for purchase through mobile gourmet concessions.


Preflight Party presented by Desert Financial Credit Union” is located on the South Lawn. Fans can enjoy a large shade structure, seating and an oversized LED video wall. Other activities include cheerleader autographs, Big Red photo opportunities, football-themed games and interactive displays.


“Bud Light Primetime Grill” is located within the Preflight Party on the South Lawn and provides Cardinals fans with 75 feet of tailgating entertainment at each home game. Fans can enjoy delicious food and programing on large high-definition TV’s with custom surround sound.


“Big Red Brew Haus presented by Four Peaks Brewing Company” features a variety of beer selections, a traditional Brew Haus menu, pool tables and TV’s for fans to enjoy NFL action in a comfortable indoor environment. It is located on the service level of the stadium. Fans can access the Brew Haus by entering at Gate 2 and taking the escalators down.


“The Game Zone” is a pregame tailgate located in the south endzone area inside State Farm Stadium. Fans can enjoy interactive games and a backyard BBQ menu. Tickets for the pregame event are $75 per person and space is limited and can be purchased at www.azcardinals.com/gamezone. Food and two drinks are included in the ticket price. Guests attending the Game Zone must also have a game ticket and should enter through Bud Light Gate 3, located at the southeast corner of State Farm Stadium.
