The Vikings final score wasn't just the first of Beebe's career; it also came less than two minutes after he muffed a Panthers punt, which could have proved disastrous for Minnesota.


"Punt return, it's my job to catch the ball, and I didn't. I didn't do my job. So I definitely felt like it was a personal deal," Beebe told media members postgame. "But at the end of the day, I came to the sideline and my teammates picked me up, and they made it feel like it was a team thing. We just carried on with that confidence through the end of the game and finished strong. I keep saying that never-give-up attitude."


Beebe also credited his Christian faith for helping him remain resilient and mentally tough through adversity.
