For the Panthers, receiver Curtis Samuel (knee), defensive tackle Zach Kerr (toe) and cornerbacks Eli Apple (hamstring) and Donte Jackson (toe) are all questionable.

Earlier this week, the Panthers placed two-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kawann Short (shoulder) and rookie defensive end Yetur Gross-Matos (ankle) on injured reserve and put center Tyler Larsen on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

UPDATE: Later on Friday the Bears activated veteran defensive tackle John Jenkins from injured reserve and listed him as questionable for Sunday's game. Jenkins was placed on injured reserve Sept. 24 after hurting his thumb in a Week 2 win over the Giants. According to a rule implemented for this season only due to COVID-19, an unlimited number of players can return to the active roster after spending three games on injured reserve.
