EAGAN, Minn. — Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks did not practice Wednesday because of a foot injury.

It's the first time for Kendricks to land on the injury report this season but far from the first time that the Vikings linebackers have taken a hit.

Minnesota's Anthony Barr was lost for the season after a torn pec in Week 2, Cameron Smith is recovering from open-heart surgery and on the Reserve/Non-Football Illness list, Ben Gedeon is on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list, and rookie Troy Dye is on Injured Reserve.

Kendricks is currently leading the NFL with 45 tackles (league stats) and has led Minnesota in tackles in each of his five pro seasons.

Eric Wilson is the only other Vikings linebacker on the 53-man roster who began camp with the team. Minnesota has since added Hardy Nickerson, Ryan Connelly and Todd Davis. The Vikings have Blake Lynch and Cale Garrett on their practice squad.

Minnesota is scheduled to visit Seattle and play on Sunday Night Football in Week 5.

Wednesday's Vikings Injury Report: In addition to Kendricks, rookie return specialist K.J. Osborn (hamstring) also did not practice.

Receiver Adam Thielen (shoulder), cornerbacks Holton Hill (foot) and Kris Boyd (hamstring) were limited. So was tackle Olisaemeka Udoh (finger).

Cornerback Mike Hughes (neck) was listed as a full participant after missing the past two weeks. Tackle Brian O'Neill (shoulder), center Garrett Bradbury (knee) and special teamer Dan Chisena (knee) also were listed as full participants.
