Rarely if ever do we expand the PFT Live draft beyond the world of football. Rarely if ever are we reacting to a story the resonates so loudly beyond the world of football.

In the aftermath of Colts quarterback Andrew Luck‘s stunning retirement, Chris Simms and I spent some time on Monday’s PFT Live looking at the most surprising football retirements of all time, in any sport.

We went four rounds, but it didn’t help him. He tried to get too creative, and he missed some of the obvious, low-hanging retirement fruit.
