NFL.com believes Cousins could rebound from poor Week 2 start

Kirk Cousins is looking to rebound from one of the worst starts of his career, and Adam Maya of NFL.com believes he is primed to do so.

Maya wrote up some takeaways from the Vikings-Colts matchup, and noted "better days" are ahead for the Vikings starting quarterback.

Maya wrote:

Kirk Cousins will have better days. The Vikings need him to have them soon. They fell to 0-2 in the unforgivingly competitive NFC after their QB had one of the worst games of his career. Cousins connected on just 11 of 26 passes for 113 yards with no touchdowns but three interceptions. Only three completions eclipsed 10 yards as Minnesota's signal-caller appeared uncomfortable targeting receivers other than Adam Thielen.

Cousins compiled a passer rating of 15.9, which was the lowest in his career as a starter. He also had his first three-interception game as a Viking, and just the third performance in his 95-game career with three picks.

Zimmer Foundation puts on backpack donation

The start of another school year is here, and the Mike Zimmer Foundation has once again helped out students in need.

The Zimmer Foundation recently donated hundreds of backpacks to The Salvation Army, which provided those supplies to students at the Excell Academy for Higher Learning in Brooklyn Park.
