The Lead
On Monday, we took a look at the MVP conversation surrounding Drew Lock, who became a media darling since finishing the season 4-1.
But today, we're taking a look at a player who hasn't gotten nearly as much attention.
In an article this week, Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport picked each NFL team's best-kept secret, and linebacker Alexander Johnson got the nod for the Broncos.
Johnson didn't start a game for the Broncos until Week 5 last year — which also happened to be the first defensive snaps of his career — but he took advantage. He started all 12 games to finish the season and recorded 93 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.
Plus, he unveiled a dinosaur celebration that rivals Lock's Buzz Lightyear routine.
We're excited to see what Johnson has in store for his first full year as a starter.
