NFL announces kickoff time for Broncos' Week 16 game vs. Lions

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos' Week 16 game against the Detroit Lions will kick off at 2:05 p.m. MT on Sunday, Dec. 22, the NFL announced Tuesday.


The date of the game had not previously been finalized. When the NFL announced the Broncos' schedule in April, the game was slated for either Dec. 21 or Dec. 22.


The game will be televised on CBS.


Denver's game against Detroit opens a two-game home stand to end the 2019 regular season.
