ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos continue to sign members of their 2021 draft class.

Seventh-round pick Jonathon Cooper became the latest player to put pen to paper, as he signed his rookie deal on Tuesday.

Denver selected the Ohio State outside linebacker with the 239th pick in this year's draft. He was NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah's 120th-ranked prospect.

Cooper posted 76 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, one forced fumble and two passes defensed in 45 career games — including 25 starts — with Ohio State.

The two-time honorable mention All-Big Ten player should also contribute on special teams.

Cooper has not yet participated in on-field offseason work during sessions open to the media after undergoing a medical procedure. Head Coach Fangio said in May that Cooper is "doing good," and Cooper has since been observed watching practice.

The Broncos have now signed seven of their 10 draft picks. CB Pat Surtain II, S Caden Sterns, S Jamar Johnson, WR Seth Williams, CB Kary Vincent Jr. and defensive end Marquiss Spencer have also inked their rookie deals.

Only RB Javonte Williams, OL Quinn Meinerz and LB Baron Browning have yet to sign their contracts.
