The Green Bay Packers are teaming up with Canadian whisky brand Crown Royal during the month of November to encourage fans to take part in The Purple Bag Project, which inspires people to give generously one bag at a time.

For more than a decade, Crown Royal has shipped its iconic purple bags filled with essentials to service members overseas as care packages. Ordinarily, Packers fans of legal drinking age have had the opportunity to pack bags in person on gamedays at the Lambeau Field fan walkway; however this year fans will be able to participate virtually at pack.crownroyal.com.

On the website, each care package will be packed with handwritten notes, non-perishable food, personal care items and essentials, and will then be shipped to military members overseas through The Purple Bag Project's charity partner Packages From Home.

This program is part of the annual, league-wide Salute to Service initiative held throughout the month of November, aimed at recognizing veterans and members of the military in conjunction with Veterans Day, and offers a variety of ways for fans to get involved and join the team in saluting those who serve.
