The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Chris Blair, S Innis Gaines and LB Ray Wilborn to reserve/future contracts. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Friday.


Blair (6-2, 198) is a rookie out of Alcorn State University. He spent two years at Hinds Community College (Raymond, Miss.) before playing two years at ASU (2018-19). In 2019, Blair ranked No. 6 in the nation in yards per reception (21.2) as he led the team with 931 yards and hauled in seven touchdowns. He registered five 100-yard receiving games, including 144 yards against Mississippi Valley State, 136 against Jackson State, 108 against Savannah State and 108 against Southern.


Gaines (6-1, 202) is a rookie out of TCU. In four seasons (2016-19), he played in 38 games, recording 104 tackles (69 solo), 15 tackles for a loss, four sacks, three interceptions, 13 passes defensed and three forced fumbles. In 2017, he set career-highs for total tackles (37), sacks (two) and forced fumbles (two). Gaines registered a sack and interception in each of his final three seasons.


Wilborn (6-3, 230) is a first-year player out of Ball State University who was originally signed by the Atlanta Falcons on April 26, 2020. He was relased by the Falcons after training camp and spent part of this season on the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad. After beginning his career at Garden City Community College in Kansas he played two years at Ball State, recording 166 tackles (93 solo), 12.5 tackles for a loss, three sacks, eight passes defensed and four interceptions as a linebacker (2018) and safety (2019).
