GREEN BAY – Packers QB Aaron Rodgers and Chargers QB Philip Rivers square off for the third time Sunday, the most head-to-head matchups for Rodgers against an AFC quarterback playing for the same team.
Here are five things to watch.
1. Big numbers: Speaking of Rodgers-Rivers matchups, through the first two meetings, the winning quarterback has thrown for a combined 502 yards, and the losing one has thrown for 888 yards. The Packers have both victories, but Rivers has lit up Green Bay in trying to bring his team back from big deficits. His 503 yards passing in 2015 mark the second-highest total in Lambeau Field’s history.
