SPARTANBURG -- The Panthers have added two new players to the roster, signing rookie guard Rishard Cook and kicker Joey Slye.
Two spots opened up when guard Dorian Johnson and linebacker Brandon Chubb were waived/injured.
Cook, who played collegiately at UAB, originally signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent after the 2019 NFL Draft.
Slye played his college ball at Virginia Tech, where he left as the school's all-time leading scorer. He previously spent time with the Giants and Buccaneers.
