The Patriots have released linebacker Jack Cichy, the team announced on Wednesday.
New England claimed Cichy off waivers from Tampa Bay last week. In his third year out of Wisconsin, Cichy didn’t appear in a game for the Patriots but played in five contests for the Buccaneers this season on special teams.
The Patriots also signed defensive back Dayon Lake and wide receiver Devin Smith to their practice squad.
