Summary: Abram makes his presence known on the field, both as a leader and with his ability to be physical at any moment. He is a solid run defender who could continue to work on his pass coverage skills, but Abram can run with tight ends and more than hold his own near the line of scrimmage.

Lance Zierlein of NFL.com wrote that Abram is a “blunt force-striker with the measurables and play demeanor teams look for from a down safety with nickel linebacker qualities. Abrams did an admirable job in coverage in Mississippi State's scheme but might not have the anticipation and ball skills to hold up in extended coverage duties. Abrams shines as a physical run defender with pursuit speed and energy to play sideline to sideline.”

Abram’s full scouting report on NFL.com can be found here.

Stacking up: NFL Media analyst Bucky Brooks is a big fan of Abram, as he had the safety as the top player in the safety group before and after the combine.

Draft analyst Dane Brugler, who writes for The Athletic, listed Abram as the fourth-best safety in the draft.

Daniel Jeremiah of NFL.com had Abram as the 23th overall player on his most-recent list of the Top 50 prospects in the 2019 NFL Draft, up two spots from the previous ranking.

Bulldog, Wildcat, Bulldog: After shifting from Georgia to JUCO, Abram played safety and also a little quarterback in the Wildcat formation at Jones County. The nation’s top junior college safety focused on defense after transferring to Mississippi State.
