The Raiders needed a roster spot, after adding veteran guard Richie Incognito today.
They found that spot by releasing veteran lineman Chaz Green.
Green signed with the Raiders last November and started one game, and re-signed in March.
The 27-year-old was briefly with the Saints last year, and started seven games in his first three seasons with the Cowboys.
