With defensive backs Jaylon Johnson (shoulder) and Buster Skrine (concussion) both ruled out of Sunday's regular-season finale against the Packers at Soldier Field, the Bears on Saturday activated cornerback Xavier Crawford from the practice squad for the third straight week.

Crawford has appeared in each of the last two games for the Bears, playing 10 snaps on special teams two weeks ago in a victory over the Vikings in Minnesota before playing 21 total snaps last Sunday, including five on defense, and recording a pair of tackles in a win over the Jaguars in Jacksonville.

Crawford was selected by the Texans in the sixth round of the 2019 draft out of Central Michigan. He appeared in four games with the Texans and one with the Dolphins last year, recording two tackles.
