Season finale with Saints moved to 4:25 p.m.

CHARLOTTE – Next week's season finale against the Saints will now kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET, the NFL announced Sunday night. The game was originally scheduled for a 1 p.m. start at Bank of America Stadium.


It's the second straight week the Panthers have been moved into the late afternoon slot. On Sunday, they made Washington wait for a chance to clinch the NFC East title.


Next week, the Saints will be playing to beat out the Packers for the NFC's top seed and lone bye. For that to happen, New Orleans (11-4) would have to beat Carolina and hope Chicago knocks off Green Bay (12-3) and Seattle (11-4) tops San Francisco. Both of those games are also set for 4:25 p.m. kickoffs.
