EAGAN, Minn. — The NFL on Tuesday announced the Vikings 2019 preseason opponents will include three NFC teams — including a nationally televised game against the Seahawks — and one AFC squad.

Minnesota is scheduled to host Seattle for a 7 p.m. kickoff on Aug. 18 in the second week of the preseason. The game will air on FOX.

This will be the fourth straight preseason for the two teams to meet, and it will be a precursor to a regular-season contest between the squads in Seattle (the regular-season schedule will be announced later).

The Vikings will open their exhibition slate the previous week by visiting the New Orleans Saints. A specific day and time has not been scheduled, but the game will occur in a range from Aug. 8-12.

Minnesota hasn’t played New Orleans in the preseason since 2001, when the teams met in San Antonio, Texas.

After hosting Seattle for a second-straight preseason, the Vikings will remain at home to host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3 (will be scheduled in a range from Aug. 22-25). The Vikings last hosted the Cardinals in a preseason game in 2014, the first season under Head Coach Mike Zimmer.

The Vikings will conclude their exhibition slate with their second visit to Buffalo in three preseasons. That game is scheduled for Aug. 29.

Vikings preseason games will be televised in the Twin Cities by KMSP FOX9.

All four games will be broadcast on KFAN-FM 100.3, KTLK-AM 1130 and the Vikings Radio Network.
