It’s always better to be the Super Bowl MVP than the regular-season MVP. But the latter prize doesn’t suck, especially as it relates to getting compensated for a player’s future services.

Four of the last five MVPs won the award for the first time — Cam Newton in 2015, Matt Ryan in 2016, Patrick Mahomes in 2018, and Lamar Jackson in 2019. (Tom Brady won his third in 2017.)

So if that trend holds, which players are the most likely to be first-time MVPs in 2020? That was the subject of Wednesday’s PFT Live draft.

Check out the selections in the attached video, and then make your own picks in the comments.

Every day (most days, technically) we have a draft on PFT Live. Download the Peacock app to see it live at 7:00 a.m. ET, or to stream it on-demand whenever you please.
