Who analysts think Bears will pick in draft

Chinn appeared in 38 games with 27 starts over four seasons at SIU, compiling 243 tackles, 13 interceptions, 31 pass breakups, 5.0 tackles-for-loss six forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Last year as a senior the 6-3, 212-pounder established career highs with 71 tackles, four interceptions and 2.5 tackles-for-loss while also recording seven pass breakups.


Lance Cartelli of 247 Sports thinks that the Bears will select Colorado receiver Laviska Shenault at No. 43 and Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm at No. 50.


Shenault had a breakout season in 2018, catching 86 passes for 1,011 yards and six touchdowns and rushing for 115 yards and 5 TDs on 17 carries, making him the only player in the country to score at least five touchdowns rushing and receiving. The 6-1, 227-pounder's numbers declined in 2019, with 56 receptions for 764 yards and four TDs.


Fromm leaves Georgia after just three seasons ranked second on the school's all-time passing list with 78 touchdowns and fourth with 8,224 yards. In 43 games, the 6-2, 219-pounder completed 63.3 percent of his passes and threw 78 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.


Josh Edwards of CBS Sports projects that the Bears will choose Louisiana guard Robert Hunt at No. 43 and Notre Dame tight end Cole Kmet at No. 50.


Hunt was a four-year starter at Louisiana, where the 6-5, 323-pounder played left guard as a redshirt freshman, split time between left guard and left tackle as a sophomore, and then played right tackle as a junior and senior.


Kmet is skipping his senior season to enter the draft. He was a three-year contributor and one-year starter at Notre Dame. Last season he established career highs in all receiving categories with 60 receptions, 691 yards and six touchdowns despite missing the first three games with a broken collarbone. Kmet is a Chicago area native who attended St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights. His father, Frank, was on the Bears practice squad in 1993.


Drafttek.com is predicting that the Bears will pick Minnesota safety Antoine Winfield Jr. at No. 43 and Oregon guard Shane Lemieux at No. 50.


Winfield, the son of former Bills and Vikings All-Pro safety Antoine Winfield, appeared in 30 games over four seasons at Minnesota, recording 172 tackles and nine interceptions. After being limited to just four games as a sophomore in 2017 and again as a junior in 2018, Winfield had a breakout 2019 season. The 5-9, 203-pounder established career highs with 12 games played, 83 tackles and seven interceptions.


Lemieux, a 6-4, 310-pounder, started all 52 games at left guard during four seasons at Oregon and was voted second-team All-American by the Associated Press last year as a senior.
