» E.J. Speed, linebacker: Speed, the Colts’ fifth-round (164th-overall) selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, logged 11 snaps, all on special teams, in last Sunday’s win over the Jaguars, including six with the kick coverage and five with the punt return units. For the season, Speed has played 133 total snaps — 33 on defense and 100 on special teams — and has collected six total tackles (one for a loss) and one special teams stop.


» Shakial Taylor, cornerback: Taylor, who was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent in May, had the best performance of his career last Sunday against the Jaguars; in just 15 defense snaps, he logged five tackles. On the season, Taylor has played in five games and has logged 63 total snaps (47 at slot corner, 11 out wide and one in the box, and four on special teams) and has collected seven tackles and a pass defensed.


» Marvell Tell III, cornerback: Tell III, the Colts’ fifth-round (144th-overall) selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, turned in his best performance of the year last Sunday against the Jaguars; earning his first-career start, Tell III had a career-best five tackles and three passes defensed. Tell III has played in seven games total with one start and has logged 279 total snaps — 176 on defense and 103 on special teams — and has 15 tackles, a team-leading five passes defensed and one special teams stop; his five passes defensed ranks fifth and his one forced fumble ranks tied for sixth among all NFL rookies.


» Khari Willis, safety: Willis, the Colts’ fourth-round (109th-overall) selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, earned his fifth start of the season last Sunday against the Jaguars, logging 37 defensive snaps in all, and finishing with three tackles. For the year, Willis has played 469 total snaps, including 414 on defense (161 at safety, 142 in the box, 52 along the defensive line, 51 in the slot and eight out wide) and 55 on special teams; his 44 total tackles ranks seventh among all NFL rookies, while his 35 solo tackles rank tied for sixth. He also has two tackles for loss and one pass defensed on the year.


» Rock Ya-Sin, cornerback: Ya-Sin, the Colts’ second-round (34th-overall) selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, earned his eighth start of the season — and seventh straight — last Sunday against the Jaguars, finishing with six tackles and his first-career interception and tackle for loss; he played 35 snaps in all, including 28 on defense and seven on special teams. Ya-Sin’s 36 solo tackles rank fifth, his 41 total tackles rank 10th and his one interception ranks tied for third among all NFL rookies; he also has one tackle for loss, three passes defensed and one special teams tackle on the year.
