Here are some important dates to keep an eye on as the Vikings front office goes through the process:
Deadline to Designate Franchise/Transition Players: March 5 (3 p.m. CT)
Clubs may enter contract negotiations with agents: March 11 (11 a.m. CT)
2019 League Year/Free Agency Begins: March 13 (3 p.m. CT)
Annual League Meeting in Phoenix: March 24-27
Deadline for Restricted FAs to sign offer sheets: April 19
Deadline to exercise 5th-year options on 2016 first-round selections: May 2
