ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos made several transactions on Saturday, including activating linebacker Austin Calitro from injured reserve to the 53-man roster.

Calitro, who the Broncos acquired via trade in early September, has been on IR since Sept. 28. He suffered a hamstring injury early in the Broncos' Week 3 loss to the Buccaneers, but he was a key special teams contributor ahead of the injury.

According to a new NFL rule, there is no limit on the number of players a team can activate from IR. The Broncos previously activated A.J. Bouye, Dre'Mont Jones and DeMarcus Walker this season.

The Broncos also promoted running back Jeremy Cox from the practice squad to the active roster and placed fullback/tight end Andrew Beck on IR.

Cox has appeared in two games this season after being elevated twice from the practice squad to the game-day roster.

Beck, who practiced in a limited fashion on Wednesday and Thursday before being estimated as a non-participant on Friday, initially suffered a hamstring injury against the Patriots. He would be eligible to return after three weeks on IR.
