ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos' coaching staff is eligible to return to UCHealth Training Center beginning Friday, June 5, according to a memo from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

Goodell's memo, sent Thursday, advised teams across the league that their coaching staffs were now eligible to be among the employees at team facilities. Teams are still required to follow state and local regulations in regard to reopening, but the Broncos' facilities — UCHealth Training Center and Empower Field at Mile High — reopened to a limited number of employees in late May.

Members of the coaching staff who return to the Broncos' facilities will count toward a maximum number of employees who are permitted in the buildings at one time. Goodell announced, though, that the number of individuals can increase from 75 to 100.

Goodell also stressed in his memo that coaches and football staffers — especially those who have health concerns — should speak to members of the team's medical staff or a personal physician about appropriate steps to ensure safety during their return. The memo said club medical staffs will help implement COVID-19 testing for football personnel before players are allowed to return to team facilities.

The NFL previously outlined social-distancing and health-screening standards for facilities to reopen.
