The Browns made a change at outside linebacker, bringing a family story full circle.
The team announced the addition of pass-rusher Bryan Cox Jr. He was waived by the Panthers this week.
Cox, the son of the longtime Jets linebacker (and former Browns assistant coach) Bryan Cox, played in 19 games with the Panthers over the last three seasons.
To make room for him on the roster, the Browns waived linebacker Malik Jefferson.
