Who do you think was the Bears' MVP for the 2019 season?
Steve N.
Arizona
The Bears had four players named to the Pro Bowl in outside linebacker Khalil Mack, cornerback Kyle Fuller, safety Eddie Jackson and return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson. But to me, their MVP in 2019 was receiver Allen Robinson. I feel he was the most consistently reliable and productive player on the roster, catching 98 passes for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns for an offense that struggled much of the season.
What is the largest deficit the Bears have ever overcome to win a game?
Stan D.
Merrillville, Indiana
The largest deficit the Bears have overcome in a game they've won is 20 points, something they've accomplished twice. The first was a 27-26 victory over the Buccaneers on Oct. 25, 1987 in Tampa. The Bears trailed 20-0 following the first quarter and rallied with four touchdowns on rushes of 38 yards by running back Neal Anderson and 1 yard by quarterback Jim McMahon, McMahon's 6-yard pass to Anderson and Dennis McKinnon's 65-yard punt return. The second time the Bears rallied from 20 points down was on Oct. 16, 2006 when they turned a 23-3 third-quarter deficit into a stunning 24-23 win over the Cardinals in Arizona on Monday Night Football. The Bears scored touchdowns on fumble returns of three yards by safety Mike Brown and 40 yards by cornerback Charles Tillman and Devin Hester's 83-yard punt return. It was the largest deficit erased by a team in NFL history without the benefit of an offensive touchdown. I'm sure you remember that was the night that then-Cardinals coach Dennis Green learned "the Bears are who we thought they were!"
