In what comes with little surprise given the spike in COVID cases in the state, the final two home games of the season will be closed to the general public.


The final two games at State Farm Stadium are against the Eagles on Dec. 20 and against the 49ers on Dec. 26.


Based on the latest COVID-19 statistics and recommendations from the Arizona Department of Health Services, only a limited number of immediate family members of players and staff will be allowed to attend the game.


The Cardinals had no spectators in the first home game of the season against Washington. There was a trial run of 750 against the Lions and then 1,200 for the Seahawks before the 4,200 for the Dolphins and Bills. With cases rising, the most recent home game against the Rams again had only a limited number of immediate family of players and staff.
