INDIANAPOLIS — Tackle/guard Joe Haeg, a fifth-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2016 NFL Draft, today agreed to terms to sign a free agent deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers announced the move late this afternoon.

Haeg, 26, appeared in 55 total games with 35 starts with the Colts from 2016-2019.

He logged 73 offensive and 70 special teams snaps for the Colts in 2019, primarily playing a role as a "big" tight end in some formations, and then also filling in at left guard for an injured Quenton Nelson for 31 snaps Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers.

Beyond starters Anthony Castonzo (left tackle), Quenton Nelson (left guard), Mark Glowinski (right guard) and Braden Smith (right tackle), others at guard and tackle that remain on the Colts' offseason roster at the tackle and guard positions include Le'Raven Clark, Andrew Donnal, Jake Eldrenkamp, Chaz Green, Brandon Hitner, Cedrick Lang and Travis Vornkahl.

Clark signed a free agent deal to return to the Colts early Friday evening.
