The Oakland Raiders announced Wednesday that they have signed former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Ryan Grant.

Grant, 28, becomes the first Colts free agent to sign elsewhere this offseason.

The Tulane product was a fifth-round selection by the Washington Redskins in the 2014 NFL Draft, where he would play the first four seasons of his career. Hitting free agency for the first time in his career last offseason, he signed a one-year deal with the Colts, who were in need of some playmaking ability at the wide receiver position behind T.Y. Hilton.

Grant, who entered the year as the Colts’ No. 2 wide receiver, would end up starting a career-high 10 games in 2018, but was hampered by injuries after logging 24 receptions for 246 yards and a touchdown in the first five games; in nine games the rest of the season, Grant combined to catch 11 passes for 88 yards.

In five NFL seasons, Grant has registered 119 receptions for 1,319 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Colts already dipped into free agency to address the wide receiver position this offseason, signing former Carolina Panthers wideout Devin Funchess to a reported one-year deal on March 14. Restricted free agent wide receiver Chester Rogers, meanwhile, is yet to sign his Colts tender, as is exclusive rights free agent Marcus Johnson.

Hilton, Funchess, Deon Cain, Daurice Fountain, Krishawn Hogan, Steve Ishmael, Zach Pascal, Jordan Veasy and James Wright all remain on the Colts’ offseason roster at wide receiver.
