Kwiatkoski excelled after stepping into the starting lineup in place of Roquan Smith in a Week 4 win over the Vikings and again over the final eight games after Trevathan sustained a season-ending elbow injury. Kwiatkoski tied for the Bears lead with eight tackles-for-loss while also registering 68 tackles, three sacks, one interception four pass breakups and one forced fumble. In addition, he produced a safety in the season finale in Minnesota when he dropped Vikings running back Mike Boone in the end zone.

Trevathan missed the final seven games of the season after hurting his elbow in a Week 10 win over the Lions. At the time of his injury, he led the Bears with 70 tackles. In 2018, Trevathan started all 16 games and was named a Pro Bowl alternate after compiling 102 tackles and two interceptions.

Last season Amukamara started 15 games for the second straight year, recording 53 tackles, 10 pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Clinton-Dix, Kwiatkoski and Trevathan are all due to become unrestricted free agents when the new league year begins March 18. Amukamara, however, can sign with another team immediately because he was released by the Bears Feb. 21.

Other Bears who are set to become unrestricted free agents March 18 include quarterback Chase Daniel; tackles Cornelius Lucas III and T.J. Clemmings; guard Ted Larsen; tight end Bradley Sowell; defensive tackle Nick Williams; defensive end Brent Urban; outside linebacker Aaron Lynch; inside linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis; safeties Deon Bush and Sherrick McManis; and long-snapper Patrick Scales.

NFL.com's list of the top 101 free agents is topped by two Cowboys with quarterback Dak Prescott (No. 1) and receiver Amari Cooper (No. 2). They're followed by three edge rushers in the Seahawks' Jadeveon Clowney (No. 3), the Buccaneers' Shaq Barrett (No. 4) and the Jaguars' Yannick Ngakoue (No. 5).

Rounding out the top 10 are Broncos safety Justin Simmons (No. 6), Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill (No. 7), Cowboys cornerback Byron Jones (No. 8), 49ers defensive end Arik Armstead (No. 9) and Redskins guard Brandon Scherff (No. 10).
