Doyle's day

Making his second-career Pro Bowl appearance on Sunday, Doyle, in all, had three receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown.

Doyle first got into the action at the 3:17 mark of the first quarter, when he hauled in a 16-yard reception from starting quarterback Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens, getting the AFC inside the red zone. Four plays later, Jackson would find Buffalo Bills wide receiver Andre Roberts for a five-yard touchdown pass, tying the game at 7 with 19 seconds left in the first quarter.

Doyle made another big play on the AFC's next possession, hauling in a 34-yard reception from Jackson at the 9:17 mark of the second quarter to move the ball to the NFC 29-yard line. The AFC would cash in once again, as Jackson would find Ravens tight end Mark Andrews for a three-yard touchdown pass seven plays later to tie the game at 14 with 4:41 left in the second quarter.

With the Houston Texans' Deshaun Watson entering the game at quarterback on the AFC's next drive, Doyle remained a key target. On 2nd and 10 from the NFC 13-yard line, Doyle leaked out running to his left and hauled in a pass from Watson around the 11-yard line, delivering a stiff arm to Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker around the 5-yard line before finding his way to the end zone. The play would give the AFC a 21-14 lead.
