Key dates for the Packers' offseason program announced

GREEN BAY – The NFL announced on Thursday the key dates for the Packers' offseason program, beginning with rookie minicamp next Friday and Saturday, May 14-15.


Green Bay's voluntary organized team activities are scheduled for May 24-25, and 27, plus June 1-2, 4, 7-8, and 10, with mandatory minicamp slated for June 15-17.


The voluntary nine-week offseason program is conducted in three phases. Phase Three begins May 24, when clubs may conduct in-person meetings and classroom instruction subject to COVID-19 testing cadence, tracking, facility access and other protocols.


During Phase Three, teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or "OTAs." No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.


The offseason program concludes with one mandatory minicamp for veteran players, according to Article 22 of the CBA.
