Following that protest and so many from around the country, NFL Network's MJ Acosta described why the moment proved so important. "He stood proudly at a Black Lives Matter protest in Denver along with many of his Broncos teammates," Acosta said. "[Justin] Simmons' statement, though, on how he stood there not just as an NFL player but as a black man is so important. The Broncos players, along with players all over the league, continue to use their platform and their voices to show that this movement, this conversation is far from over."

On the newest episode of the Double Coverage podcast, hosted by twin brothers Devin and Jason McCourty, they spoke with new Bronco Jurrell Casey. The defensive lineman detailed the hurt he felt as Tennessee traded him after nine seasons, how encouraged he was by the Broncos' participation in Saturday's protest and more.

ESPN's NFL Nation reporters conducted a four-round re-draft of the entire NFL to see what kind of foundations teams could build out of thin air and empty rosters. Jeff Legwold, picking for the Broncos, built a four-man squad of QB Drew Lock, TE Travis Kelce, Isaiah Simmons and Courtland Sutton. Meanwhile, Von Miller ended up on the Raiders, Bradley Chubb landed on the Jets and the Bears picked up Jerry Jeudy to pair with QB Jimmy Garoppolo. … I can't say I'm fond of the mental image of Miller on the Raiders.
