ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Von Miller has tested negative for COVID-19, the Broncos' star pass rusher announced Thursday.

"Got my results back. I'm 'negative' for Covid-19," Miller tweeted Thursday.

Miller originally tested positive for the novel coronavirus on April 16.

"It's super serious," Miller told DenverBroncos.com shortly after his diagnosis. "… I try to keep my body in tip-top shape. I try to be Superman. I try to make things happen. I try to stay up on my health. I know if I can get it, then I know that anybody can get it. I want people to really take it seriously."

Miller, who is entering his 10th season with the Broncos, has posted several Instagram stories of himself wearing a mask over the previous two weeks.

He was initially diagnosed after he developed a cough that worsened. He was encouraged to seek treatment from Broncos team physician Dr. Steven Geraghty. After evaluating Miller's symptoms, Geraghty suggested Miller be tested.

President Football Operations/GM John Elway, Head Coach Vic Fangio and President/CEO Joe Ellis were all informed of Miller's diagnosis in mid-April.

Miller remains the only Broncos player to have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
