The Green Bay Packers have signed CB DaShaun Amos to a reserve/future contract. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Wednesday.

Amos (duh-SHON AY-miss), a 6-foot, 190-pound first-year player out of East Carolina, was originally signed by the New York Giants in May 2017, but was released following training camp. He spent the 2018-19 seasons with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League, appearing in 19 games. This past season, he set career highs in tackles (42) and interceptions (five). In college, Amos played in 49 games, appearing at both cornerback and safety and recording 116 tackles (81 solo), 11 passes defensed, two fumble recoveries, two sacks and an interception he returned for a school-record 100-yard TD.
